Amazing.This is a great buy just for the ease of looking over my pictures without having to look at them with the tiny LCD screen on the back of the camera or having to download everything on the computer first. Most of all, this is ideal for when we have friends and family over.I have had many comments about my frame.

Simply insert your memory card into the slot, turn on the display and sit back and enjoy your pictures. The screen is bright and colorful.I like that you can not only look at your images, but you can also watch videos and listen to music. I like putting music to my videos or images.

I thought I was just being frisky on buying a protective screen for my LCD. When I got the item, I thought it wouldn't really be contoured fit for my SD450. But lo and behold, this product really was perfect for my camera. It was easy to apply on the camera and easy to take off also (I had to place it back on and take it out several times until I got the perfect placement.). And my camera looks unique and more elegant with this protector. I love my camera and I love that I got the protector for it.

I bought this frame as a present for my mother in law.I wanted it to be fairly easy to use and nice to look at.My husband and I "played" with it prior to giving it to her to see how it worked and to get it set up.I was impressed with the frame and was not sorry I chose this one.If you are a digital photo buff or expert, I am not sure this would be satisfactory or not,...But if you are a normal consumer, I think you will be more than happy with the quality of the picture.We did not attempt to alter the aspect ratio, so the frame cuts off a little bit of your picture.You also need to pre-rotate a photo which was shot on its side-- however, the frame does have the capability of pausing the image and then rotating it (to view it once the correct way).It was easy to use in that you can take the memory from your camera, pop it in, turn it on, and voila! A slideshow appears.This frame can also play MP3 files.We put one song on it.We found that the songs we had purchased on iTunes did not work because they are MP4s and are protected.You need to have songs from CDs you own which have been converted into MP3s, or just whatever MP3s you may happen to have.One thing that I found slightly misleading was that the box seems to indicate it comes with an interchangeable frame and that perhaps the box included those other frames.It does not.You get the one black-boarder frame, and it looks very sleek and modern.That was fine with me, but I did wonder why the box was printed as it was.This frame does come with a tiny remote control, which is pretty cool.It also came with a USB cable.At any rate, I think most people will really love this frame.We just gave it to my mother in law this weekend and she really loved it too.Knock on wood, there were no defects with it that we could see -- everything seemed to work just as it should!My husband and I liked it so much we hope to get one of our own soon, and we would not hestiate to get this brand/model again.

Review of Canon PowerShot PSC-55 Deluxe Leather Compact Case + (2) NB-5L Batteries Kit for SD990 IS SD950 IS SD890 IS SD880 IS SD850 IS SD790 IS Digital Cameras

I bought the case for my Canon SD890. I barely fits and there is no room for extra batteries or SD cards. I ended up buying a LowePro Spectrum 10 soft case instead that fits the camera much better, and has plenty of room for two spare batteries plus SD cards. A much better deal for about $10. The two NB-5L batteries are not OEM Canon batteries, but made by Zeikus (who's ever heard of them?) and are only 900mAh instead of 1120mAh for the OEM Canon battery that came with my SD890 camera. The description seemed a little deceptive to me as it implied that everything was made by Canon and only the case was, not the batteries. You're better off buying the LowePro case and some Lenmar or other non-OEM batteries that are higher mAh separately. It will probably be cheaper. At least the batteries charged up OK. Who knows how long they will keep working?

All items in this bundle which are original Canon items are as expected.

The battery is not Canon and I knew this.However it is not the same capacity as the Canon NB-5L battery. There are other 3rd party batteries which are equal to in capacity or higher than Canons.
There was no mention in the items description of this being a lower capacity replacement battery.
Other than this I was happy with all the other items.

I gave this 4 stars only because I didn't realize that the case was not large enough to hold an extra battery. It will only hold one additional card and there is no wrist cord. However it is as described and the velcro straps hold the camera securely inside the case.

Very misleading representation of the product. This item came up when I searched for a Canon battery which I wanted as a spare. The case is Canon, but the battery is NOT. The seller should list these as 'compatible' so as to make it clear. Even so, my camera manual says not to use batteries other than Canon. The plug-in charger case is annoying -- battery does not stay snug in the opening, but falls out easily. The whole reason I ordered was to get an addition CANON battery (for travel)that I could use in the charger I ALREADY OWNED. Not to have another battery whose compatibilty is 'iffy' and which requires an additional charger to use. I wonder how many others have ordered this thinking they were getting a CANON battery. Not pleased.

I purchased this lens along with the .5x Wide Angle, but there is no visible difference with the lens attached.I only recommend the Wide Angle, but both are useless with the flash as there is very visible a haze and you have to be very careful with the lenses as they are hooked to the thin plastic edge of the camera aperture which is very near the camera's lens.

Review of Canon WP-DC5 Waterproof Case for Canon SD700 IS Digital Camera

I purchased this underwater case for my Canon SD700 to use snorkeling in Hawaii.It worked perfectly - no leakage and the shots came out great. I have 2 complaints though - 1)Sometimes the inside of the lens fogged up and i'm not sure why. This usually happened after I had been using the camera in the water and I wanted to use it on land or in a pool - both times the environment was hotter than where I had been snokeling. The second problem I had was with the positioning of the selection wheel for selecting what mode you were using (auto, manual, video etc). With the camera outside of the case I have no problems but for some reason when I held the case underwater I had a tendancy to hold the wheel and turn it without knowing - so was a result I ended up taking some videos when I meant to take a picture. Annoying. But overall a great way to extend the usage of your Canon SD700 camera.

Review of Canon ACK-DC30 AC Adapter Kit for SD700IS, SD800IS, SD850IS, SD870IS, SD880IS, SD890IS, SD900, SD950IS, SD990IS, SD970IS & SX200IS Digital Cameras

Tried two of these for my Canon Powershot SD800 IS Digital Elph and neither would power the camera. Camera works fine on its battery BUT these devices evidently do not work with the camera. Replacing the battery with the ACK-DC30 left the camera dark. Checking the output showed an AC voltage of about 50v AC as the output NOT a DC voltage. Two devices same result. Maybe a bad Chinese import?

I got this case AND extra battery for my SD990 IS for the same price as the case only($19.99). This is the OEM Canon leather case and the battery is an aftermarket Li-on NB-5L. The battery works flawlessly and its sooo nice to have an extra charged battery for camping and travel, especially since I shoot videos often. I read other reveiws that the case is a little snug. This is true; however, Work it in a bit like a baseball glove or a new pair of shoes and its perfect. Its new and stiff leather, it's designed to protect. It fits right out of the box but a little stiff, but thats OK. Use some leather conditioner, leather oil or leather cleaner and rub and bend and fold and mold it and it will slide in and out of the supple case like a pistol from a custom holster.

If you own a SD 700,790,800,850,870,880,890,900,950,970,990, get this custom case. You do not want your new camera slamming around inside a loose-fitting case, rather have it held firm in the right, velvet-lined case that was made for this instrument. Plus the case minimizes the overall size and bulk of the camera.

The cases closes with magnetic snaps and holds firmly and protects. The camera will not slide out of the case if you take a fall and forget to snap it down. That is nice if you bike, or climb. If you spent $200+ for the camera, don't fall short on the case. You will be glad you got it.

I have no idea why you might use the neck-stap that is included, but great deal anyway.

All this AND an extra battery too! WOW. Must be a mistake...

I bought this as a spare battery for my new Canon digital camera. The battery costs a fraction of what the store where I bought the camera wanted to charge me for an extra battery. I've been using it, along with the original battery, for about a month now. The battery life seems good and it fits the charger and camera perfectly. The only complaint, a very small one, is that that battery is very slightly thinner than Canon's so the end cap, to protect the contacts, is loose and falls off. I just put them together in a small plastic bag to keep the contacts from accidently shorting on anything.

Review of Canon PowerShot SD850 IS 8.0 MP Digital Elph Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom

For a point and shoot camera, this little gem packs a lot of advanced features. It's definitely not a DSLR but it's sure convenient when you want to conceal it and carry it with you in your pocket.

Pros:
1) Red-eye correction. No more red-eyes! It automatically fixes them.
2) Image stabilization. Will correct your hand movements but will not stop action.
3) Face Detection. Automatically finds and focuses on faces, and sets the proper exposure.
4) LCD Screen. The 2 1/2 LCD screen is very high resolution.
5) Lots of choices concerning picture quality and color.
6) Image and video quality are very good for such a small camera.
7) Optical viewfinder. Many cameras do not have this. It comes in handy when you do not want to use the LCD screen such as in theaters.
8) Auto White Balance is much improved over the older Digic II processors.
9) There is a manual setting where you can treak your photo settings. My preference is "Positive Film," "ISO 100," "+1/3 exposure," "flash on." The photos look fantastic.

Cons:
1) Noisy pictures with ISO settings over 200. (Pretty much what you get with any point and shoot camera.) Auto setting usually selects ISO 200, which is a little noisy. You're better off to go with ISO 80 or 100.
2) Lens is wide enough for most purposes but it's definitely not a "wide angle" lens. There is some barrel distortion on the short end, meaning that straight lines, buidings, walls, etc, appear a little curved.
3) Battery/SD Card Door can slide out and pop open easily.
4) Cannot chose aperature or shutter speeds manually.
5) No battery life meter. The LCD screen only displays a "low battery" warning.

Bottom Line:
This camera is a great little convenient camera, which is able to be concealed easily, and taken about anywhere because it easily slips into a purse or pocket. It's a great camera for taking indoor portraits with flash, as well as outdoor photos. It is not good at stopping action. Pictures of kids and pets running around will often be blurry because of the 1/60 sec. shutter speed. If you are needing to take low-light or action/sports photos, you would be better off purchasing a cheap DSLR. The only reason I don't give this camera 5 stars is because of the noise at higher ISO's.

This case is perfect for my SD550 or any similar sized camera.My camera fits snug and it's the least bulky case I've come across.One drawback however:Since it is optimized to be as slim as possible there is NO room for an additional memory card or battery.This poses no problem for me as I only use this case to carry the camera in my pocket.All accessories are in my large camera bag.

Both the back and the front of this small case are designed with a hard stiff front and back designed to protect the LCD monitor.There are NO zippers to scratch the polished metal or LCD of your camera.The case opens with a velcro tab which holds the camera very securely.

One other case I would consider is the Lowepro D-Pod 10 which is slightly more bulky but does provide a bit more protection.I have both and use both depending on the amount of protection desired.My dad owns only the PSC-55 as it provides plenty ofprotection for him.

This is a very nice case and reasonably priced.
